Each winter Faith in Place partners with faith communities to host a series of indoor Winter Farmers Markets and we at Prairie Food Co-op are happy to be participating again this year!

At a time of year when outdoor farmers markets are closed for the season, this market will offer attendees the opportunity to purchase items such as meat, eggs, honey, salsa, jam, bread, pastries, tea, seasonally-available produce, and more.

Illinois Link cards/SNAP benefits are accepted at the market. All Link/SNAP customers can double their Link purchases up to $25 to buy fruits and vegetables!

Each winter, from November through March, Faith in Place partners with faith communities to host a series of indoor Winter Farmers Markets on Saturdays and Sundays.

The markets provide an additional source of income for local vendors during the off-season, promote sustainable farming methods and economic justice for regional farm families, encourage healthy, wholesome eating, and support the building of relationships between producers and consumers.

Come for to support your local food producers, but stay to say to your Prairie Food Co-op, catch up on our progress, grab a PFC Yard Sign (if you're a PFC Owner), and get a $10 gift card to use at the market if you become a PFC Owner on the spot!
